pingtan Houyan Island
The coach journeyed along the coastal highway of Pingtan. Outside the windows stretched endless fields of wind turbines beneath a sky of unbelievably clear, brilliant blue. We arrived at our first stop, Hoyean Island, surrounded by this stunning scenery all the way.The islet lacks dense forests; instead, it is a unique landscape pieced together by various gigantic and fantastical rocks. We transformed into a group of explorers, weaving our way through these extraordinary formations. Sculpted by nature and time, every vista turned each of us into a photographer. Even our usually serious colleagues, now sporting sun hats and sunglasses, struck playful poses on the massive boulders. The photos captured our most unrestrained and joyful smiles.
Longwangtou Beach
Longwangtou Beach, with its vast, flat shoreline and clear, gentle waves, extended a direct invitation to us for our second stop.The moment we stepped off the bus, the legendary 4.5-kilometer-long stretch of sand unfolded before our eyes without reserve. Sapphire-blue waters, crowned with white foam, lapped rhythmically against the golden shore. The expansive view instantly lifted our spirits. We couldn't wait to kick off our shoes and socks. The moment our feet touched the fine, warm sand, a soothing sensation traveled from our soles straight to our hearts, as if all the pressure was released in an instant.
Bonfire party
As the last glimmer of the sunset dipped below the horizon, the day's excitement and energy gradually settled into a calm serenity. However, for us, this was not the end but the beginning of another highlight—the bonfire party.With the flames leaping high, the atmosphere instantly warmed up. As upbeat music pulsed from the speakers, our coach led everyone to form a large circle around the fire, hand in hand. We laughed and danced joyfully to the rhythm. The mix of singing, laughter, and the sound of ocean waves intertwined, pushing the festive atmosphere to its peak.
Fuzhou
While our first day in Pingtan felt like an immersive IMAX experience of nature, our second day was a journey through the rich pages of history. We traced Fuzhou's cultural lineage on foot, embarking on a thousand-year urban stroll—from the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, known as the "Museum of Ming and Qing Dynasty Architecture," to Shangxiahang, the "Microcosm of Fuzhou's Traditional Commerce," and on to Yantai Mountain, the "International Architectural Exposition."
The shared laughter and the unspoken understanding we've gathered are now the driving force for the final quarter. With camaraderie and resolve refreshed, we charge forward into the year-end push, already looking forward to our next chapter and adventure together.
